Ce syndrome est le plus r\u00e9pandu chez les enfants de moins de 5 ans et le risque est le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 pour les enfants au cours de la premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e de vie. L&rsquo;incidence des traumatismes cr\u00e2niens chez les enfants est plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e au cours des premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es et moins fr\u00e9quente \u00e0 partir de l&rsquo;\u00e2ge de 3 ans.
